Until February 20, 2022, ARWE Gallery presents a new edition of the earlier group exhibition Here We Are Now. Here again, five young artists who graduated from art academies and further education some time ago. The result is a sample of young art that reflects the spirit of the times. For example, there is the conceptual project Earthlinks by Eline Benjaminsen in which she asks herself what the impact of our unlimited consumption on the climate is, among other things. Next to the politically oriented paintings by Wumen Ghua, Alice West presents intimate oil portraits of friends. The politically charged film I Declare a Thumb War by Ewan Macbeth turns out to be a re-enactment of a propaganda photo found on an official military web page.
